About

Founded in 2022, the Young Adult Caucus was formed by deputies of The Episcopal Church's 80th General Convention (July 2021) to represent the future leadership of The Episcopal Church. Members of the Caucus are elected deputies to General Convention who were under the age of 40 at the time of their election.

The Caucus's purpose is to educate deputies about church leadership and governance and to ensure deputies are are informed on issues and resolutions pertinent to young adults. The Caucus extends associate and affiliate membership to Young Episcopalians who are interested in Church governance but not yet elected to General Convention and to allied Episcopalians who are over the age of 40.
